Quality Tier 1 panels like Trina Solar are designed to last 30+ years. They come with a 25-year performance warranty guaranteeing at least 80% of original output. Most panels continue producing well beyond their warranty period.

Trina Solar panels degrade at approximately 0.4–0.55% per year. After 25 years, you can still expect around 85% of original output. N-type TOPCon panels have even lower degradation rates.

Absolutely. NZ receives excellent solar radiation — Auckland gets around 2,000 peak sun hours annually, comparable to parts of southern Europe. Panels actually perform better in cooler temperatures, making NZ's mild climate ideal for solar.
